Bailey Nelson, MS

Experience

Bailey Nelson is a highly accomplished and passionate educator with a wealth of experience in STEM education.

As the Founder of Seed and Stem Learning, LLC, she has developed over 100 online math and science lessons for K-12 students that are aligned with NGSS and Common Core Standards. Bailey also manages a client base of 600 monthly customers, which includes schools, state educational savings account departments, and homeschool networks.

In addition to her work at Seed and Stem Learning, Bailey has worked as a Curriculum Alignment Contractor for Edpuzzle, where she accurately interpreted content standards for English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, and aligned Edpuzzle's original video lessons to applicable standards.

She has also worked as a Science Curriculum Alignment Contractor for MergeEdu, where she accurately interpreted content standards for science application activities and aligned MergeEdu App lessons to applicable Texas, California, and NGSS science standards.

Furthermore, Bailey worked as an NGSS Standards-Based Rubric Creator for ThemeSpark, where she created standards-based rubrics aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards.

Before her current roles, Bailey worked as a 6th Grade Science Teacher at Williams Intermediate School in Davenport, Iowa, where she developed and executed science lesson plans for students at the middle school level according to Iowa learning standards.

Education

Bailey holds a Master of Science in Professional Education and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a K-12 TESOL/ESL Endorsement from Western Illinois University. She is certified to teach K-6 and holds a PreK-12 ESL Teaching License in the State of Illinois.
