Experience
Pateakia has worked in education for 15 years. During that time, she received three higher education degrees, including a PhD in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in mathematics from Mercer University.
Pateakia has taught from the elementary level to graduate level courses in research and is currently a Multi-Tiered Support Systems Coordinator. She specializes in mathematics and education.
Pateakia holds fast to the philosophy that all can learn when given the right tools and support.

Pateakia received her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University in 2017. She also has an Educational Specialist Degree, Master's Degree, and Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Georgia.
